David Strawson (Group)

Founder and Chairman David Strawson has over 60 years commercial, residential and rural property experience. As the majority owner of Strawsons Property David continually provides advice, guidance and support across all parts of the business.

Anne Bisson (Group)

Anne is a Chartered Surveyor who after a period working for Prudential Portfolio Managers in London joined her father David Strawson with the aim of developing the Group’s commercial property investments. Anne has led the Group through a period of significant growth in her role as Managing Director. Retaining responsibility for the strategic direction of the Group Anne has developed an exceptional track record in selecting the right opportunities at the right time.

Daniel Shaw (Commercial Investment)

Dan joined Strawsons in January 2022 having worked in Commercial Property Management for 9 years. Dan has held Property Management positions within the Peel Group and Lambert Smith Hampton, and more recently Headed the Department at Barnsdales. Dan is responsible for the performance of the Group’s property investment portfolio, over-seeing day-to-day management and lettings operation, and ensuring operational compliance across the core commercial property portfolio. He also plays a key role in all potential commercial acquisition and disposal matters.

Jim Wild (Finance)

Jim is a Chartered Accountant who has been with the Group for around 13 years. Prior to joining the business, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is closely involved in the strategic direction of the business. He oversees the financial management and compliance of the Group and has substantial experience in taxation, structuring and banking matters.

Adam Jones (Commercial & Retail)

Adam is a Chartered Surveyor who has been with the Group for over 16 years. In that time Adam has overseen the enhancement of the Group’s investment portfolio including the delivery of a number of prestigious commercial and retail projects. Prior to joining Strawsons Property Adam held development and management positions at Langtree and Network Space. He has an excellent knowledge of regeneration and the property markets across the North of England and East Midlands.

Andy Bow (Finance)

Andy is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Advisor who joined the Group in 2020. Prior to joining the Group Andy worked for 9 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Tax Advisor followed by 6 years in a Senior Management position in the Finance, Tax and Treasury team at Center Parcs. Andy works closely with Jim on the financial management and compliance of the Group.

Haydn Short (Rural)

Haydn is a Chartered Surveyor who joined Strawsons Property in 2015 to develop the Group’s Rural interests. His principal role is the promotion and management of the Group’s extensive agricultural holdings, building on his previous experience with leading national firm Fisher German and his wide-ranging knowledge of the rural sector throughout the UK.
